Seven Mile Beach is also famous for its whiting during the summer months as well as bream, tailor, salmon, flathead & mulloway. Crooked River is a popular place for prawns, good size bream & flathead up to 5kg recorded.
Werri Beach at Gerringong is a very deep beach with snapper to 6kg & whiting to 1kg to be had.
Minnamurra River is a unique mangrove ecosystem. Netting is illegal, but many a peaceful hour can be spent fishing for whiting, bream, flathead & blackfish.
There are also a number of charter boat companies that operate out of Kiama and they guarantee that you will come home with a feed of fish for the family.
