The historic Jamberoo Pub, 10 minutes from Kiama is worth a visit for any sports mad husbands looking for a quite place for a drink or lunch while you are busy "retreating". Cedar-cutters moved into the area in the early 1800's, then came cattle grazing and dairy farming which still goes on today.
There is a golf course and the Jamberoo Recreation Park for the young at heart. It is close to the Minamurra Falls (pictured).
